Fareham Town Regeneration: Listening to the Community

Last week, our Managing Director, James Cons, attended the public exhibition consulting and articulating the work we have undertaken for our client, Fareham Borough Council. This event provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the local community, share the emerging proposals, and gather meaningful feedback on the Fareham Town Centre regeneration project.

The event welcomed a wide range of local residents, businesses, and stakeholders, all contributing their perspectives on how the town centre can and should evolve. These conversations are a vital part of the design process, helping to ensure that the proposals are both inclusive and understanding of local aspirations.

The vision for Fareham town centre is to create a vibrant destination offering a diverse mix of retail, leisure alongside residential development opportunities. By enhancing the overall user experience alongside new residential provision the town centre will continue to serve as the heart of the community. Our work is focused on helping to reshape and revitalise this space, improving connectivity, encouraging footfall, and creating a more engaging and liveable environment for both day and evening use.

We are proud to support Fareham Borough Council and RivingtonHark in delivering a forward-thinking and sustainable vision, and we look forward to continuing to develop the proposals in response to the valuable feedback received.
