Our Managing Director, James Cons, gave the keynote presentation at the Movers & Shakers Investing in the High Streets event – “The High Street – A £200bn Investment Opportunity?” The insightful virtual event brought together leading property investors to discuss the scale of the opportunity and the challenges in association with the High Streets Task Force. The keynote address was delivered by Lord Bob Kerslake, Chair of the UK2070 Commission and followed up with James’s presentation – “Integrated Placemaking – A step-by-step approach to a new Urbankind.”
This was the second event James has been participated in. In March, he was on the “Unlocking the High Streets through Public & Private Collaboration” panel in association with The High Streets Task Force. The keynote address was from Rachel Campbell of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and the presentation came from Andrea George of Bruntwood Works.
