The sensitive and sustainable regeneration of the town’s heritage quarter to create a new riverside community.
We’re reinvigorating Gravesend town centre with a new neighbourhood that respects the historic high street and reconnects the town to the river. As well as much-needed new homes, there’s a rich array of uses for everyone to enjoy.
The Charter is a new residential development of 242 build-to-rent homes across three blocks. Residents will benefit from plenty of amenity space, including balconies, communal gardens and rooftop terraces. There’s also a flexibly-designed multi-storey car park.
Phase two will extend St George’s Shopping Centre to create a new civic heart and public square around the Grade II* listed St George’s Church. Introducing a mix of workplace, shopping, leisure, cultural, community and hospitality uses will drive daytime visitors to the town. At the same time, residents from The Charter will boost the evening and night-time economy.
“This sensitive and targeted regeneration is transforming Gravesend town centre into a destination for residents and visitors alike.”Lee Pope, Director
