Using his extensive knowledge and experience in delivering some of the UK’s most prestigious projects, he is an exemplary leader. He takes responsibility for the architectural team and the communication between the client, contractor and design team.

From conception to completion, he brings a wealth of expertise to any project team at every stage of development, ensuring technical requirements are aligned to conceptual designs and delivered to exceed expectations. He is adept at understanding complex challenges, finding solutions to ensure the delivery is de-risked and meets commercial requirements.

His wide-ranging portfolio includes retail, leisure, residential and mixed-use developments. He has led on the technical aspect of a number of the practice’s flagship schemes, including the London Designer Outlet – the first of its kind within London’s M25 – for Quintain and the project’s lead contractor Sisk. His current projects include the extension of Charter Place in Watford for intu and the transformation of The Moor in Sheffield for Aberdeen Asset Management.

Simon’s previous experience on The Rock scheme in Bury and the Parkway development in Newbury, which included substantial residential elements, is a stand-out example of his expertise in implementing design codes and standards in line with the construction techniques adopted to successfully deliver the project.

Simon originally joined Leslie Jones in 1999, has completed an HND Building Studies qualification and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (ACIAT).

In his free time, Simon is a keen photographer and he enjoys playing guitar and cycling.
