A belated but no less meaningful message, as we move into what will be a difficult 2026 for many, we want to raise awareness for our chosen 2025 charity. Refettorios at St Cuthberts Centre is an organisation making a real and lasting difference within the local community of Earl’s Court.
St Cuthbert’s Centre is a registered charity that has operated as a day centre in Earl’s Court for people in need for over 30 years. In 2017, it was transformed into Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert’s through a collaboration with Chef Massimo Bottura’s and Lara Gilmore’s non-profit, Food for Soul, becoming the one of the first Refettorios outside of Italy. St Cuthbert’s Centre plays a vital role in supporting people experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, and social isolation. Through the provision of hot meals, essential supplies, practical advice, and a safe, welcoming environment, the Centre offers dignity, stability, and human connection to those who need it most. Their work not only addresses immediate needs but also helps individuals access longer-term support, including housing guidance, benefits advice, and routes towards independence.
As economic pressures continue and the demand for frontline community services increases, the importance of organisations like St Cuthbert’s Centre will only grow into 2026 and beyond. Their ongoing commitment to compassion, consistency, and community support ensures that vulnerable individuals are not left behind during challenging times. We are honoured to support St Cuthbert’s Centre and the incredible work they do every day, and we encourage others to recognise and support charities that make such a meaningful impact at a local level.
