Brian joined Leslie Jones in 1997 and was promoted to Associate Director in June
2001, and then to Director in 2005 following incorporation of the business.
Brian is a professionally qualified Architect with extensive project management
experience with an emphasis on efficient and effective management of the project
delivery process from inception to completion. He has a proven track record in delivering
projects in office, health and residential sectors in addition to the core Leslie
Jones specialisation of retail and leisure. These skills, together with his exceptional
creative ability, ensures he brings real added value to his clients requirements.
His role as design team leader on complex refurbishment projects has ensured that
he has a good understanding of the logistics of construction and its impact upon
trading and retail environments. He has developed strategies for minimising this
disruption and ensuring that the architectural design takes these constraints into
account from early feasibility options.
At Leslie Jones he has successfully led project teams on masterplanning, new build
schemes and multifaceted refurbishments within live trading environments, throughout
the UK and overseas, working for commercial developers, financial institutions and
local authorities.
His traditional architectural qualifications have been complemented by an MBA and
post graduate diploma in project management.
Brian is a keen sportsman and is constantly training for various triathlons and
other hard core races. Currently project managing his own renovation of a 400 year
old family house in the country, Brian when not seen with paint brush in hand or
disciplining builders, also takes time out to enjoy the great outdoors with faithful
dog Russell.
